Some AT&T Technician that installed computer networks and had no security clearance just blew the whistle on the NSA spying program that is meant to filter through all electronic communications such as emails. All people in this building had a security clearance and were under orders that anyone with a security clearance who spilled the beans would be committing a crime. He didn't so he is spilling the beans.
He tried to spill his story to both the LA Times and the New York Times. The LA Times were going to run the story until the government met with them and they decided not to run it. The New York Times declined to run it. ABC News just had an exclusive.
