I am so amazed by your work. I really didn't know that you had much artistic inclinations other than writing. Are you reading about exposure, composition or anything or are you just doing? I am very interested.
I've read most of the technical stuff about how cameras work and how to compensate for difficult lighting situations (Photography For Dummies), but I haven't read a lot of the artistic suggestions yet. I want to blaze ahead for a while developing some of my own style and finding my own preferences before I read much about the "art" of it all... give myself some time to enjoy the cliches that I'm probably engaging in before I recognize them as cliches. I do want to look at some established photographers' work soon though. I'm having a lot of fun with it... more than I ever could have imagined. I really need good image editing software, though, which is a little expensive.
