I want this
I'm stunned. I just happened to see this (am seeing this) on my PBS station: Roy Orbison and Friends, A Black and White Night. I swear Bruce Springsteen looks like he's amazed that he's on stage with Roy Orbison. When I first saw it on the TV screen I thought that there was some digital game going on with everyone on the screen at the same time.
From Wikipedia:
On piano was Glen D. Hardin, who had played piano for The Crickets and for many years with Elvis Presley. Lead guitarist James Burton and bassist Jerry Scheff also played with Presley both in concert and in the studio. Male background vocalists, with some on guitar, were: Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Jackson Browne, J.D. Souther, Steven Soles. Singing the female background vocals were k.d. lang, Jennifer Warnes, and Bonnie Raitt.
It is only because of my musical ignorance that the other names aren't in bold, I'm sure.
