This seems a sign of how fundamental this election is. This is a question of whether you want people who believe "those who are our enemy should be destroyed" in the White House or people who believe in "understanding our enemy, admitting our mistakes, and trying to be amelioratory or accepting that some of the fault of the war is ours" in the White House.
